Extremely rare and hard to obtain, these artisan ornamental Aztec shot glasses are only made by a few traditional artisans just outside of Jalisco, Mexico.

The shot glasses are of the Aztec tradition by the Tlatilco people (1250 BCE to 800 BCE) who've shown a marked increase in specialization over earlier cultures, including more complex settlement patterns, specialized occupations, and stratified social structures. In particular, the development of the chiefdom centers at Tlatilco and Tlapacoya is a defining characteristic of Tlatilco culture.

They are made from a mix of special clays, using a traditional open fire baking process, then sealed to make them drinkable.

No pieces are the same and they stand roughly 4.0" tall and are 3" wide.

Volume Capacity = 2.5 oz
