Red Clay Round Teapot
Made in a Zapotec village called San Marcos Tlapazola by the famous "Women of Red Clay."
Seeking to serve urban rituals and tastes, while taking advantage of the thermal characteristics of red clay, we designed this simple, but elegant teapot for cold and hot drinks. The amazing thing is that you can place it directly in the fire!
The intense red color of these pieces is given by a slip with a special clay gather from a hillside near the village and then delicately burnished with quartz stone.
