The Huichol (also known as Wixarika), are an indigenous and very spiritual people of Mexico. They live in hard to reach places high up in the mountains. They are famous for peyote ceremonies and creating very detailed handicrafts with beads. These works of art are a form of meditation for these artisans. Today we bring you our collaboration of Huichol products custom made for us straight from the mountains of Jalisco. To learn more about the Huichols, click here.
The symbolism on these Huichol Wine Glasses represents the Flower, meaning sacred. The Flower is used in all ceremonies and is used as a prayer symbol, when blossomed the spirit reaches the highest levels of enlightenment.
